HealthTech Events Rescheduled Due to Coronovirus

In the past few days a number of our partner healthtech events have been postponed owing to the ongoing situation caused by the Coronovirus. Here is a summary of the latest updates:

New Date for SEHTA 2020 International MedTech Expo & Conference: Monday 28th September 2020

With the global concern regarding the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) escalating and after discussions with our main partner in the NHS, Kent Surrey Sussex Academic Health Science Network, we’ve made the decision to move our Expo & Conference to Monday 28th September 2020.

SEHTA has determined that after evaluating the situation with our Sponsors and Exhibitors, this is in the best interest of all parties especially those attending from the NHS, who are likely to be over-stretched at this time. This is not a decision taken lightly.

We are delighted to say that the event will still be held at Hilton London Tower Bridge Hotel who have been very accommodating in moving our event to Monday 28th September 2020.

All those who have registered in advance and paid to attend, whether as a delegate, exhibitor or sponsor will automatically be transferred to the new date of Monday 28th September 2020.

The Oncology Convention 2020 and all Co-located Events Rescheduled due to Coronavirus

The organiser of the Oncology Convention (17th-18th March 2020, NEC Birmingham), has been closely monitoring updates on the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

Like many large event organisers, the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and staff is always our number one priority. This is particularly pertinent in the care and health sector communities that the Oncology Convention brings together.

Many of our visitors are, or are on the frontline of supporting, the most vulnerable in society. This combined with the fact that health and social care workers will be critical to ongoing containment and management strategies, means that we have taken the decision to reschedule the Oncology Convention to later in the year and will confirm this date by Monday 16th March 2020. This will include all events co-located with the Oncology Convention including the Medical Imaging Convention, AI&ML Convention, European Neuro Convention, Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo, Home Care Expo, Naidex, Smart Home for Assisted Living and Care Tech Live.
