Cegedim, has announced the launch of its Cegedim Health Data business, in the UK, built on the company’s THIN database.
Cegedim Health Data is designed to support Pharmaceutical companies, Clinical Research Organisations and Academic Institutions, with access to over 56 million anonymised real world patient records accessible from its THIN database (The Health Improvement Network), to help drive cutting edge improvements in patient care and outcomes.
The business has also announced the launch of Cegedim Health Data Lab, a cloud-based solution providing business intelligence and analytics. The Health Data Lab uses the THIN database, together with predefined calculations, around aggregated data to understand market trends (Market Intelligence), or more bespoke analysis to answer specific questions involving longitudinal patient information such as treatment pathways (Patient Intelligence). Further features allow the creation of personalised interactive dashboards inclusive of trackers, all of which are updated monthly.
