While 2020 has undoubtable been a year that we would all rather forget there have been some positives that have come as a result of the difficulties and challenges faced by us all.
In healthcare, the essential uptake of technology that has been necessary to adapt organisations for social distancing during 2020 has been a huge step forward for digital transformation across the industry. What would previously have taken years to debate and deploy has taken, in many cases, a matter of just weeks, or months.

So much has been gained through technology designed to deal with COVID, in 2020, that it is imperative that we maintain that momentum and drive forward the many benefits for healthcare that have been derived.
As we look forward to what will hopefully be a much improved New Year, we do so in the hope that the positive strides taken during COVID will provide the necessary foundation for health technology to thrive in 2021.
